Spray Solutions and Sunless Support Products

Biddiscombe International, one of sunless tanning’s early innovators, offers a complete line of DHA tanning solutions to cover the range of application method, skin type and customer preference encountered by salon owners.  Offering a range of spray solutions, Biddiscombe’s DHA sunless program is specifically designed to put control in the hands of the salon owner.

Biddiscombe offers 2 new aerosol sunless tanning products.  Both were created to eliminate the persistent greening of aerosols if they sat on the shelf for extended periods.  Passport is our “adult” sunless tanning aerosol and contains DHA, erythrulose and enhancers for top bronzing performance.  The Toned sunless tanner is more forgiving to over spraying mistakes, great for light-skinned people and can be used for touch-ups after being salon sprayed.

Retail offerings targeted to sunless tanning will enhance salon performance. Biddiscombe offers scrubs, pH balanced body washes and tan extenders including those in the Revelation and teen oriented Toned lines. 

Section 1: SUNLESS SOLUTIONS

Biddiscombe’s sunless solutions are all water based and contain no alcohol.

305 –

Ø     A solid, performance-proven solution used by many particularly in airbrush/HVLP applications. 8 ¾ % DHA. Quality results at an attractive price.  A favorite for years and some consider this the best solution sunless made.

Everlast –

Ø     Our 305 formula with Erythrulose, Co-Q10 and Chinese White Tea. Combined 9.5% DHA and Erythrulose.

EVO –

Ø     Our most popular solution does extremely well with all application methods. EVO is an all-rounder: great on a broad range of skin types, fast developing and moisture rich. 10% DHA. Good choice for salons wanting to use a single solution.

Fuzion –

Ø     Dark for sure - A professional formula for those clients with darker complexions or a base tan. High in DHA and erythrulose, care should be taken with light-skinned clientele.

Ø     Fuzion provides a natural brown color and is infused with Pro-Vitamin B5 for intense hydration. DHA and Erythrulose combined at 11%.

Ø      

Revelation –

Ø     The latest technology breakthrough in sunless. Revelation utilizes natural melanin for faster absorption and rapid drying times.  Non-sticky and minimal rub off.  Terrific for fair-skinned clients particularly red heads and blonds.

Ø     Fueled with Pro-Vitamin B5, grapefruit, thyme and chamomile extracts leaving skin silky soft and alive. 8% DHA along with the tanning enhancers in Revelation make this a high performing tanning solution.

Legacy –

Ø     Our newest addition. Recently developed from years of sunless experience, Legacy brings together natural melanin, natural darkening enhancers, a combined 10.25% of DHA and erythrulose and the moisturizing attributes of hylauronic acid to provide superior results.

Ø     Quick dying with little rub-off, Legacy gives that right-off-the beach glow and outstanding sunless color.

Ø     Skincare and sunless performance together.

Clear Mist –

Ø       Newly developed following the pattern of Legacy, Biddiscombe’s Clear Mist formula utilizes chamomile, ginger, ginseng and hylauronic acid for nourishing and soothing the skin while imparting great color with a combined 9.5% DHA and erythrulose with natural performance enhancers.
 

Ø       Dries quickly without the rub-off challenges that come with cosmetic bronzers – watch the color develop, you will be amazed.

Honey –

Ø       95% or higher certified as organic ingredients under NOP/EcoCert standards and is 100% all natural. 
 

Ø       9% Ecocert certified DHA, all natural colors.

Ø       No synthetic preservatives or colors. Honey and Nutmeg are as close to NOP certified organic sunless solutions as you will find anywhere.

Nutmeg –

Ø       95% or higher certified as organic ingredients under NOP/EcoCert standards and is 100% all natural. 
 

Ø       11% Ecocert certified DHA, all natural colors.

Ø       Honey and Nutmeg are the perfect choice for salons promoting a natural/organic theme.

S4200 –

Ø                  Solutions specifically designed as a quality alternative for use in VersaSpa® tanning booths.  The clear and bronzer solutions were designed to meet the demanding technical needs of these booths and contain in excess of 83% certified organic ingredients.

Ø                   Amazing performance with manufacturers direct pricing advantages.  A real option!!

S4400 –

Ø       A thicker dry feeling solution specifically designed for hand held HVLP application.
 

Ø       Marrying technical advances with organic ingredients for performance and skin health. This formula can also be used in airbrush application utilizing slightly higher pressures.

Section 2 – RETAIL SUNLESS TANNERS

Toned-Sunless™ Instant Tanner

Ø     Step #2 of the Toned-Sunless System

Ø     Even-Spray Aerosol Technology prevents streaking and delivers a smooth and natural looking tan.

Ø     Spray-on tanning salon perfection that lasts up to 7-10 days.

Ø     Can be used as a touch up after an airbrush session or can be used to do a full body. Each “can” will do approximately 2 full body sprays.

Ø     With 6.5% DHA and tanning enhancers, Toned-Sunless Tanner is perfect for fair-skinned bodies. The likelihood of over-spraying with an aerosol self tanner is dramatically reduced with Toned.

PASSPORT

Ø     Passport is a fast drying self tanning spray designed for all skin types

Ø     A combination of 9%  DHA, Erythrulose and tanning enhancers deliver immediate results and a natural golden brown color. A tan darker than Toned will develop.

Ø     Can be used as a touch up after an airbrush session or can be used to do a full body. Each “can” will do approximately 2 full body sprays.

Ø     Like airbrush tanning, client must make sure the skin is free of any dirt, oils, perfumes, make-up or lotions before applying. For best results shower with Ultra Scrub™ before applying.

Ø     Our unique formula and design is high-performance self-tanning spray in a can. It is the result of an extensive research and development program to create a significantly improved product with solid results and extended shelf life.

KOKOMO

Ø    Sunless tanning lotion rich in natural butters, oils and vitamins for healthy alive looking skin.

Ø    This unique, high level blend of DHA and Erythrulose will create a deep dark golden brown tan in just 3-4 hours that lasts for days.

Section 3: SUNLESS SUPPORT PRODUCTS

Revelation Program

Pre-Tan Exfoliating Scrub (Phase 1)

Ø     This is Phase 1 of 5 within the Revelation Sunless tanning series. This Pre-Tan Exfoliating Scrub is designed to be the ideal product to be used in the shower the day of a planned sunless tan.

Ø     This formula smoothes away dry, rough skin with dual action exfoliants, Alpha-Hydroxy Malic Acid and a mild Glycolic Lactic Acid, resulting in a more even, natural looking sunless tan.

Ø     The antioxidant power of Bilberry extract provides the capability of protecting cells against damage from unstable oxygen molecules which we know ‘as free radicals’.

Ø     In addition to natural fruit exfoliating acids we added physical exfoliators, loofah like particles, that gently exfoliate dead skin cells and rejuvenate your skin with the healthy antioxidants your skin needs.

Ø     Using Revelation™ Pre-Tan Exfoliating Scrub will dramatically increase the end result of any sunless tan.

Ø     Revelation ™ Pre-Tan Exfoliation Scrub has a beautiful fragrance resembling Bath and Body Works Iced Cranberry.

Revelation Pre-Tan Exfoliating Spray (Phase 2):

Ø     This unique spray was designed for people on the go who have not had time to properly exfoliate but want to ensure the best results prior to DHA application.

Ø     Enriched with concentrated fruit and flower extracts to purify blocked pores and sweep away dead skin cells.  Salicylic Acid creates a dynamic fusion, bringing skin to the proper pH level to best absorb the color component.

Ø     Organic Micro spheres oxygenate, refine and polish skin texture to leave it clear, smooth and primed for any sunless application. Aloe Vera nourishes and hydrates the skin while Retinyl Palmitate encourages cell renewal, enhancing your skin’s youthful appearance.

Ø     Enriched with powerful anti-oxidants like Lemon Balm extract and Grape Seed extract which assist in firming the skin while preparing an optimal environment for a sunless tan.

Revelation Sunless Spray Solution (Phase 3) (see solution section)

Revelation pH Moisturizing Body Wash (Phase 4)

Ø     Sunless tans can be destroyed or hindered by using everyday soaps when showering. This formula is designed for the avid sunless tanner.

Ø     This purifying formula is pH balanced with encapsulated Jasmine Bio-Ester beads which gently remove dead skin cells, minimizes oils and creates the ultimate hydrating explosion. The Jasmine Bio-Ester beads actually dissolve as you wash them into your skin.

Ø     Enriched with mild cleansers and Vitamin B5 to help restore softness and smoothness to your skin with each shower or bath.  Contains rich botanical moisturizing complex of Glycerin, Jojoba oil, Grapefruit Seed, Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Tapioca Starch to balance and restore the moisture of your skin.

Ø     Use daily a few days following your sunless tan to brighten and even out dull sunless color without stripping your tan. Lather up with an exotic fragrance of Island Apricot Sunburst.

Revelation Sunless Tanning Extender (Phase 5)

Ø     The Revelation Sunless Tanning Extender is lavish, moisture rich lotion designed to be used daily between your sunless tanning visits.

Ø     Enriched with a new generation of specially formulated rich emollients, vitamins, antioxidants and fortifying botanicals to protect and hydrate your skin, helping to extend your tan while keeping your skin soft and smooth.

Ø     Revelation™ Sunless Tanning Extender also contains a unique concentration of DHA, Erythrulose and Coffee extract for a triple bronzing effect. This will assist in lengthening your base sunless tan between professional visits.

Ø     Alpha Lipoic Acid works as a powerful antioxidant to assist in diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  This hydrating body lotion gradually builds existing sunless and UV tan color with each application. If used daily, the color received will resemble a rich, golden brown color.

Ø     Hydrolyzed Collagen promotes cellular repair and assist in promoting a youthful appearance.

Ø     Blends of citrus and vanilla notes of fragrance add a special treat as you indulge in this masterpiece of a tan extender.

Toned-Sunless Program

Step #1 –Toned-Sunless™ Instant Tanner (see self-tanner section)

Step #2 -Toned™ Tan Extender is an 8oz white tube.

Ø     Use the Toned™ Tan Extender as your daily moisturizer between Toned™ Instant Sunless Tanner applications to extend your tan while keeping your skin soft and smooth.

Ø     Toned™ Tan Extender is specially formulated with rich emollients, vitamins, anti-oxidants, tropical oils, and fortifying botanicals to protect and hydrate your skin.

Ø   Alluring flower blossoms mingle with just a hint of ripe melon in this sweet floral fragrance inspired by the tropics.

Other Sunless Support Products

ULTRA SCRUB – Dermal Exfoliator

Ø     Ultra Scrub is a glycolic, physical dermal exfoliator, which removes dead and damaged skin cells using A.H.A's and new Jojoba beads to promote new skin cell growth.

Ø     Contains 10% of the active glycolic making Ultra Scrub™ much more effective for exfoliating the skin, better preparing a client for an airbrush tan. The Jojoba bio-beads are also very effective for exfoliating dead skin cells in addition to providing good skin conditioning and moisturizing properties.

Ø     Using Ultra Scrub™ daily will dramatically make skin more receptive to DHA solution and moisturizing lotions.

Ø     Cleanse skin twice daily; using Ultra Scrub™ at nighttime or just before a sunless tanning session. Simply massage it in, lather it up and rinse off with plenty of water and towel dry.

Ø     Ultra Scrub™ has a rich fragrance of vanilla pineapple.

BEACH BLAST

Ø     This formula is designed to provide an “Indian Summer” color. Customers will enjoy getting that temporary “just-off-the-beach”, slightly reddish look after the initial application.

Ø     This is a color additive designed to create a darker initial color.

Ø     Use only 4-8 DROPS per 2oz of tanning solution.

Ø     Up-charge - $5-$10

BRONZE BLAST

Ø     This formula is designed to boost the bronzing color for those who wish more immediate gratification.

Ø     This is a color additive designed to create a darker initial color.

Ø     Use only 1-2 full eye-droppers per 2 oz of tanning solution.

POWER DROPS

Ø     This formula is designed to boost the DHA % of solution within the cup to give a little boost to an application when needed.

Ø     A measured amount into a 2 oz cup will raise the DHA percent by 1%.

PAUSE

Ø     Pause™ is designed as a DHA stain stopper for those areas that have been accidentally exposed to DHA. This product aids in stopping the DHA reaction with your skin to eliminate the coloration on your hands or on the bottoms of your feet. To be effective you must use Pause™ immediately when over spray or spilling occurs. “Pause™ will stop any further development of the DHA process.

Ø     Pause™ will considerably tone down the appearance of existing DHA stains. If you have clients that have excessive areas of their skin that has flaking or splotchy from over applied DHA or just the tan wearing off can use Pause™ will assist in removing the excess DHA.

Ø     Pause™ consists of aloe Vera to replenish moisture back into the skin and a blend of Hydrogen Peroxide, pure lemon oil and a proprietary BL Abrasion complex that exfoliates the skin and lifts the DHA particles away from the skin.

Ø     Pause™ has a delightful cream orange mint fragrance.

RENEW™ DERMAL EXFOLIATING SPRAY

Ø     Renew™ is the ideal product for airbrush tanning. Designed to be used with every client to be assured of proper exfoliation.

Ø     Renew™ is a glycolic exfoliating spray that is to be used in your airbrush and sprayed on the client immediately before you airbrush tan them. Some clients just use a spritzer bottle like the ones at the Dollar stores. Just spritz it on and dry them off.

Ø     The glycolic acid in Renew™ cleans the client’s skin, removing any dirt, oils, perfumes and perspiration. This ensures that the DHA has optimal performance on freshly exfoliated skin, regardless if the client says they have properly exfoliated. The better a client has exfoliated the better the tan will look.

Ø     Renew™ contains “Pentavitin”, a new moisturizing active that actually binds moisture in the skin in the Bi-layers. Its unique affinity for keratin helps the skin to retain moisture; like a magnet.

Ø     Renew™ also contains chamomile, caffeine and ginseng. Great anti-oxidants to facilitate your skin with a rich ultra smooth feel to the touch.

Ø     To use Renew™ just simply apply a light coat on to your client. Then have them towel dry off. Apply the DHA solution directly after.

MOISTURE LOCK

Ø     Designed to be used after an airbrush tanning session to lock in the color and seal it with moisture.

Ø     Moisture lock can be sprayed from a “spritzer” bottle or your airbrush equipment directly onto the body of your client once the airbrush solution is completely dry.

Ø     Essential nutrients like Ginger, Ginseng, Rosemary and Rose Hips are used to provide skin with a silky smooth finish.

Ø     This product does not contain DHA, so an after-tan tan extender is recommended for daily use after the first shower.

BARRICADE™ - Professional barrier cream

Ø     Designed for the airbrush tanner that wants to protect areas of the skin from exposure to DHA solution. Apply a light film around the cuticles, palms of hands, and other areas that the client wishes to not be sprayed.

REVIVE PLUS WITH BRONZERS

Ø     An Aloe Vera based tan extending daily moisturizer with 2% DHA. Moisturizes the skin on the daily basis while adding DHA to the skin to create light even tanned color. This will help the airbrush tan last longer and fade more evenly.

Ø     Aloe Vera based for maximum hydration and even smooth application.

Ø     2% DHA by volume to add light even color to the skin that wont streak.

Ø     L-Tyrosine, Glucose Tyrosinate, Unipertan, Riboflavin and Sunceuticals help the skin to produce melanin so you can achieve deeper darker UV tanning results. (Can be used as a lotion)

Ø     Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter smooth and soften the skin.

Ø     Vitamin E, Sunflower Extract, Hemp Seed Oil and Chamomile Oil penetrate and increase moisture levels in the skin.

Ø     Pear Berry Fragrance.

REVIVE ULTRA™ - Bronzer  Moisturizer  Extender

Ø     Revive Ultra is the ultimate lotion for indoor and sunless tanners alike.

Ø     Fueled with dual Bronzers (DHA at 2% and Erythrulose at 1%) Revive Ultra™ will extend a tan for 3 to 5 days longer if used daily.

Ø     More moisture rich than Revive Plus™ using pure coconut oil and Pentavitin™ which is proven to bind moisture in your Bi-layers of skin.

Ø     Revive Ultra™ also contains L-Tyrosine, Virgin Hemp Oil and anti-oxidants for ultra skincare.
